With Ministries Quarterly Update
Flourish – Fall 2025
A Letter From Rebecca
“With’s work is going to change the world because it is going to change the Church.” These words were spoken after our Worship As One Summit, and I believe them with my whole heart. The Church has the power to reshape the narrative around disability in our society — and With Ministries is uniquely positioned, with the vision, influence, and determination, to lead that change.
We are calling churches across the country to greater faithfulness in the area of disability inclusion. The call to love our neighbors — all of them — is not optional. The image of the Body in 1 Corinthians 12 is not metaphorical. “The eye cannot say to the hand, ‘I don’t need you.’” Yet this is the message many churches, however unintentionally, communicate when they fail to make room for people with different needs, voices, and ways of engaging in worship.
Part of With Ministries’ vision has been to gather pastors and church leaders to reimagine worship — with people with disabilities not just present, but participating and contributing meaningfully. We set out to fill a room with the decision-makers and culture-setters of various denominations — and together, we did just that.
The vision of withness, supported by current research and practical strategies, moved churches of all sizes and traditions toward the next step: creating spaces where people of all abilities are extravagantly welcomed.
Thanks to your generosity, our Worship As One Summit brought together over 150 leaders for a day of learning, repenting, praying, dreaming, and worshiping — as one complete Body. And now, they return to their congregations equipped with fresh vision and renewed commitment to fostering belonging for people with disabilities.
But we’re just getting started. Let’s continue this work together. Your partnership makes all of this possible — and together, we truly can change the Church, and change the world.

WORSHIP AS ONE
ACCESSIBILITY SUMMIT FOR LEADERS
Worship As One was a gathering rooted in research, shaped by theology, and brought to life by the people the church too often overlooks. In partnership with Baylor Collaborative on Faith and Disability, we spent the day catalyzing and equipping leaders from across Texas (and one from Kansas) to become communities where both believing and belonging abound.
Together, we explored:
February 2026
Worship As One was a huge success so we’re hosting it again on February 5, 2026! We will invite the next 100 pastors to join us in reimagining worship with everyone in the room. If you want your church present, please send us an email.
Summit Stories of Impact
“My church has a great ministry established but I never SEE these members of the congregation. I would love to see our church move toward ministry WITH.”
“We have a lot of room to grow. We are definitely doing ministry TO people with disabilities. I would love to see everyone worshiping together.”
“We want to move from ministry FOR (out of place of pity) to ministry WITH (emphasizing mutuality).”
“We are going to begin preaching the withness of the Gospel and invite our church to do ministry WITH all people.”
“We need to start talking about disability inclusion from the stage. Right now, people with disabilities are kinda hidden away. We need to think about how to support people with disabilities in our worship settings so that we can be together.”
“We are going to gather our staff together and pray.”
