With Ministries Quarterly Update
Flourish – Summer 2025
A Letter From Rebecca
“Where are you going? Please don’t leave. You’re welcome to come back in. We want you with us.”
These words reflect a powerful shift happening in church culture—and we are humbled to be part of it.
With Ministries equips congregations across the U.S. to warmly welcome, faithfully disciple, and intentionally worship with people of all abilities. We’ve seen firsthand how churches are embracing this calling—not as a side ministry, but as central to the life of the body of Christ.
One of our partner churches recently shared a moment that illustrates this beautifully. During a worship service, an adult with disabilities abruptly and noisily left the sanctuary because he needed a break. But instead of discomfort or avoidance, the church responded with care and preparedness. They had a plan—both to support his participation in worship and to provide space when he needed it.
What’s more, this church regularly communicates from the stage a deep conviction: that individuals with disabilities are not only welcome, but essential to their church family. They proclaim that every person’s God-designed differences are a gift to the body of Christ.
So when he walked out, something extraordinary happened. A woman from the congregation immediately followed him into the lobby. Not to correct or quiet him—but to make sure he knew: You belong here. She invited him back in—not in spite of his differences, but because the church truly desires his presence.
This is the vision we long for: churches that do more than make space. Churches that embrace individuals and families affected by disability—not just in proximity, but in meaningful community. Churches where gifts are shared, interdependence is celebrated, and belonging runs deep.As you read this update, I pray you celebrate all that God is doing through With Ministries! Your generosity catalyzes a movement to reshape church culture. You are helping build communities of belonging in over 30 states. You are with us—and we are deeply grateful.
